What makes a candle luxury?
Three things. Clean-burning natural soy wax instead of paraffin. Enough fragrance in the wax to fill a room. And a wick that burns evenly to the edge of the jar. Price follows those choices; it doesn’t replace them.
Why do luxury candles smell stronger and last longer?
Mostly the fragrance and the wax. A well-made candle carries more fragrance oil, and slow-burning soy wax releases it at a lower temperature over more hours. A cheap candle fades because it carries less oil, not because your nose adjusts.
